Just watched "The Code Room" over lunch, and all the while I couldn't help but think "Man, I would kick so much butt!!!" Heh.
Reminds me of the coding challenge that Aaron Skonnard mentioned from PluralSight's first campsight. That also sounded very fun. Love that competitive hacking.
Also, the fact that they made them leave all of their notes, notebooks, etc, made me laugh a little. I distinctly remember in college being amazed in one of my physics classes by the fact that my professor said he didn't care what we brought along with us for our exams, as long as it wasn't another person.
"Cool." I thought.
As it turns out, I thought wrong.
His point became obvious after the first test, though. It really didn't matter what you brought, the problems were hard enough that reference materials weren't going to have the answers, and you would probably end up needing all the help you could get.
