Dabbling: sagely Ajax advice

Interesting bit from one of the dabble boys in the recent continuations-meme:

The vast majority of the operations in Dabble, and certainly any navigation, are full page loads and operate in the normal way (actually, another major use of Ajax inside Dabble is to keep the size of all of those full page loads down, by lazily loading things like popup menus which aren’t always needed; this still plays nicely with the back button).

Gap Minder + Google

Perhaps you've seen this already, but I hadn't. Check out this fascinating flash tool from Gapminder.org, hosted courtesy of google. It lets you plot world development statistics relative to each other and animate the graph in time from 1965 to current. I could sit here and tweak the variables all day.
